Soccer is such a crazy sports like every one is into it. Like any game, there're rules or tricks. 

What spiritual lessens can we learn from the spinning ball?                                                      
  
Let's get in to see the funny or serious sides of the game...                
                                                                                                     
It is so popular even dogs are watching it on TV.
  

 You can't deny it.  Care to join them?
          
                                      
           

Young or old, everyone is crazily in love with the game.
But do they know the rules of the game?
 

Or are they just spinning the ball, round and round like everyone else?   
                                                                                                  Do they understand the rules like they understood the spiritual rules?  

In any sports there must be some fundamentals or rules if we are to enjoy any meaningful appreciation of the game. It short, it must be fair to every player.


  
RULES OF THE GAME: ONE BALL ONLY


There can be only ONE Ball in the field.
You can't have two or many balls. 
                                                                      Everyone will be confused to which ball 
is the authorized or official one.


ELEVEN PLAYERS ON EACH TEAM
      

They must play according to the rules of the game and abide by the referee's decisions. To win the game they've to play their individual role, and listen to the captain's instructions and follow the game plan.



There must be A FEFEREE who upholds the rules of the game and able to apply them wherever and whenever necessary.

The fundamental role of a soccer TEAM CAPTAIN  acts as a link between the manager of the team and the players. 

He needs to handle pressure well, make tactical decisions and communicate effectively with the referee and the team.



Appointing a good soccer captain is an important decision for the team to be successful. The captain:

• Is mentally strong: inevitably, he will be criticized at some point. 
• Needs to remain focused and strong under intense  pressure during a game, so that he can make the correct decisions at the right time.
• Speaks only when necessary - concise and to the point.
• Observes and deals with players if they deviate from the game plan which need forceful  articulation so the rest of the team will not be negatively influenced or demoralized.

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE CAPTAIN...

The team captain knows the game plan. He plans strategies with the manager.

It's the captain's responsibility to lead the team to victory.                                                                                                
Imagine the vice captain giving conflicting instructions - the players will be confused and disarrayed.



What will happen if the vice captain work independently, and not submitting to the master game plan and the team captain?

The opponents will hit hard to knock you off. You can't blame you were struck by lightning.

You lost the game because personal egos get in the way and failure to be personally responsible.
                                                                                   
You can't blame on bad weather, injuries or the referee made some terrible calls... Or, the fans booed the team and left the stadium. 


CAUGHT ON CAMERA 
                                                                                                                    Face The Truth: You were disqualified for some unsportsmanlike conduct. You can't play foul and pretend to be the victim.  

The referee may be blind but not the one upstairs.

We witness foul play in daylight. How much more dangerous when play in the dark.
 

DARKNESS  CAN TAKE THE LIGHT OUT OF YOUR LIFE 

You can't play in the dark - dark of knowledge where the ball is or your opponents.

Still many enjoy playing in the dark - inflicting injuries on one another. 


Don't think it's a small matter. 
  
It may looks small and innocuous - not harmful or offensive.   

                                         

Don't be deceived by its smallness.

Like fire it will grow BIGGER and spread.

If not nip at the bud - it can be LETHAL.
 

DON'T 'SOCCER' YOUR SOUL AWAY

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE
the POWER of smallness.

YOU MUST NOT ALLOW THE
ISSUE TO ESCALATE.

• Listen to the one chosen captain in charge
• Don't allow personal egos to get in the way
• Don't play in the dark where you can't see
• Stick strictly to the Master's game plan
• Play your role and position as a team
• Uphold the rules of the game
• Don't score your own goal

   

THE COVETED TROPHY: SALVATION

Our adversary is Satan, not any man.


The coveted trophy can only be won by adhering to the Master's game plan.


Unless we play on the Father's team, there is no guarantee of winning ... and the rewards.


Remember, Winning: One Ball, One Captain.
